Akin,
Gordon & Cowger Engineers & Land
Surveyors (AGC) is a Women
Business Enterprise (WBE)
consulting engineering firm
offering services for the State
of Missouri and Kansas as well
as the private sector. Our
services include water
distribution, wastewater
collection & treatment
facilities, roadway and storm
drainage, and transportation
design as well as land
development. AGC Engineers is a
consulting engineering & land
surveying firm located at 2120
W. College, Suite G, in Liberty,
Missouri. The partners of AGC
Engineers, Missy Robertson, Art
Akin, Larry Gordon and Ron
Cowger have incorporated their
knowledge and expertise to bring
over 47 years of engineering
experience to the firm. We are
dedicated to devoting the
necessary resources to assure
that our clients meet their
goals. We employ additional
support staff to help further
supplement our project team as
necessary to fit the specific
needs of our client.
AGC Engineers is equipped with
state-of-the-art equipment
necessary to provide consulting
services of the highest quality.
Our firm utilizes AutoCAD
Version 2002, Land Development 2
and Civil Development 2, and
Microsoft Office 2000 products
that allow our Computer Aided
Design Department to maximize
drawing production efforts.
Hewlett Packard Design Jet
plotters, HP Laser Jet Printer,
and a KIP 2950
Printer/Scanner/Plotter are also
utilized to further enhance our
computer resources and the final
product delivered to our
clients. We also have a full
service surveying department. In
addition to the more
conventional total stations we
also own the latest Global
Positioning Systems (GPS)
surveying equipment. The GPS
allows us to set control points
on many of our larger projects,
such as control for aerial
photography on projects that
cover large areas. The
information that we obtain from
aerial photogrammetry is used to
provide detailed contouring and
data for hydraulic analysis,
earthwork calculations, roadway
layout and alignment and other
design work. Our computer
capabilities can interface
directly with digitized
information from the aerial
photogrammetry companies to
reduce the steps required in
producing topographical
drawings. |
